    運動時の酸素摂取量の動的応答特性は,循環系による酸素運搬と活動筋などによる酸素利用とのバランスによって決定されますが,生体が置かれた環境や運動の様態次第で酸素の運搬と利用が関与する程度は異なります。今日まで様々な条件下で酸素摂取量応答について検討されてきましたが,酸素摂取量の動的特性を規定する生体メカニズムについては,解明されていない点が多くあります。様々な条件下で酸素摂取量の応答動態を検討することによって,生体の環境適応における調節メカニズムの解明とモデル化が可能になると考えられます。これまで,運動時の循環機能の動的応答特性を解明するには,測定法上の問題が多く存在しました。そこで,心拍出量測定におけるインピーダンス法を始め,超音波ドップラー法を用いた筋血流量や血管径の測定など,非観血的にしかも安定した循環系機能の測定が可能な方法の開発についても研究を進めています。また,非観血的に測定された生体情報には,生理的な反応と無関係なノイズ成分が含まれます.このようなノイズをいかに減らすかが,生体の調節システムを解明するためのキーポイントとなります.そこで,生体情報の解析に及ぼすノイズの影響について検討し,生理的な成分からノイズを分離するための方法の開発についても研究を行っています.
